The Minneapolis Star Tribune presented the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) with the names of 294 actively licensed nurses who have criminal convictions, including criminal sexual conduct, assault, and fraud. The Star Tribune reports that the Minnesota Board of Nursing has already taken action against 31 of those nurses and that as many as 107 will be barred from providing direct care to patients.
