An astonishing amount of civil lawsuits continue to be filed against two Virginia nursing homes.
Extendicare, the former owner of the homes, recently turned the ownership rights over to a different operator, but the trouble won’t go away.
According to The Richmond Register, there have been five wrongful death suits and one negligent care suit filed against the two homes since the beginning of this year.

Extendicare has seen 43 civil lawsuits filed against the company since 2009 in Virginia.
