After sexually assaulting a nursing home resident in 2010, Telesforo Vasquez III violated his parole in multiple ways this past year, resulting in a 10-year sentence from a Texas judge.
A 91-year-old female resident at Lufkin Nursing Home was the first victim, according to KTRE. Vasquez forced her to the ground in a sexual act against her will. This past August, Vasquez pleaded guilty, but Judge Barry Bryan declined the plea bargain last weekend.
Vasquez’s probation officer took the stand during the hearing and said she did not feel there had been any progression in his character since he went on probation.
