OzarksFirst.com reports that a woman at a Springfield, Missouri nursing home was found deceased outside of the home on May 9. The elderly patient fell out of a window at Springfield’s Skilled Care Center, and was not found for several hours.
The family of the resident—along with others in the community—has called for increased safety standards at the home, which recently possessed a one star out of five safety ranking on the website medicare.org.
