Albert Lea Aid Pleads Guilty to Abuse Charges

The Star Tribune reports that a second former nurse’s aid from the Good Samaritan Society Albert Lea has plead guilty to three gross misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges.  The case, which is being handled by the Kosieradzki Smith Law Firm, was brought after several teenage nurse’s aids regularly abused Alzheimer’s and dementia patients.  The aid who recently plead guilty admitted to having inserted her finger into a resident’s rectum, having jumped into bed with another and made “humping” motions, and having deliberately tried to make another angry.  Her sentencing is scheduled for December 22nd.
