Good Samaritan’s Nursing Home in Waconia Neglects Its Resident

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) has completed its investigation of neglect concerns at Good Samaritan’s nursing home in Waconia, Minnesota.  A complaint was filed with the Department alleging that the nursing home failed to administer Coumadin for 10 days.  The resident developed a clot in the left femoral artery. Waconia Nursing Home Staff Too Tired to Save Resident’s Life

The Good Samaritan Society’s nursing home in Waconia, Minnesota lost a resident because the nursing home’s employee was “tired and not thinking clearly,” according to an investigation report posted by the Minnesota Department of Health (Case no.
